Arabic, religious schools attend virtual programme

The Islamic Studies Department held a nationwide religious programme for Arabic and religious schools virtually on Thursday.

Two sessions were held simultaneously throughout the Sultanate with the morning school session starting at 8am and the afternoon session at 2pm.

The Arabic schools involved in the morning session were Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic Boys Secondary School, Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School, and Bandar Seri Begawan Arabic Preparatory School.

The participating religious schools were Katimahar Religious School, Pengiran Anak Puteri Masna Religious School, Royal Brunei Navy Religious School, Penapar Religious School in Tutong District, Sayyidina Ali Religious School in Belait District and Batu Apoi Religious School in Temburong District.

The programme began with the recitation of Surah Yaasiin, followed by a Doa seeking protection from COVID-19 and the Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
