A Doa Kesyukuran ceremony was held to mark the completion of a theatre production on Brunei’s historical Battle of Castille jointly organised by the Brunei History Centre and Lakap Lagor Entertainment during the Literature and Cultural Arts Aspiration Gala festival by the Malay Language and Literature Bureau recently.
Certificates of appreciation and participation were presented to 34 participants of the show at the residence of Pengiran Haji Ismail bin Pengiran Ibrahim in RPN Kampong Rimba.
The stage show aimed to disseminate historical facts to the audience in helping to inculcate national identity so that it will not degrade with the advancement of technology and globalisation.
The show also helped spread national history to people from all walks of life and to promote the history of the Sultanate, people and the religion, thus upholding the national identity.
