Apply skills acquired, trainers told

Eleven participants from private training providers in the country attended the closing ceremony of a five-day Training of Trainers (ToT) Certification Programme held at the SEAMEO VOCTECH (SV) Regional Centre on Saturday.

The programme explored the various topics of competency-based training: training needs assessment; introduction of training; preparation for training; implementation of training; evaluation of training; and preparation and delivery of training outputs through microteaching.

SV Director Alias bin Haji Abu Bakar, in his closing remarks, hoped that the programme has aided the participants in honing and enhancing their capabilities by sharpening their training delivery of presentation and facilitation techniques.

He also urged them to apply the skills acquired from the programme to their training plans.
