Acting Director of Radio Television Brunei (RTB) Haji Azman bin Haji Abdul Rahim and representatives from the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) officiated the launch of the Catatan Misteri Mini Series II at The Mall Cineplex on Sunday.
Before the screening, Director of HadiYul Studio Production Hanidi bin Haji Mahmud, the producer of the mini-series, in his welcoming remarks, said that fans anticipated the mini-series following the first movie, aired on RTB in 2000.
After over 20 years, fans of the movie put together a reproduction of the film by creating a mini-series for local viewers during the movement restriction phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, posted on YouTube and social media platforms.
The mini-series features four episodes – Telekung Arwah 2 Aida, Bandul Ke-3, Basement and Final Prank – under the production of HadiYul Studio Production.
Catatan Misteri Mini Series II is one of the initiatives of AITI, supported by RTBGo.
The contents are filled with lessons and advice and can be viewed through RTBGo beginning next month until April 2023.
