Islamic teachings encourage followers to forge ties and embrace forgiveness among family members, friends and neighbours.
This was said by National Anti-Drug Association (BASMIDA) President Datin Hajah Masni binti Haji Mohd Ali at the group’s Hari Raya celebration at The Rizqun International Hotel, Gadong recently.
She said the association’s members should carry out anti-drugs activities with an Islamic approach and their motivation should not be for praises but for rewards and blessings from Allah the Almighty.
Datin Hajah Masni said this year’s Hari Raya celebration is comparatively smaller than the previous ones but expressed hope that it can still strengthen ties among its members.
