NBT Brunei continued its annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative yesterday, delivering essential donations and festive gifts to socio-economically challenged orphans as part of its Ramadhan Charity Drive.
Reaffirming its commitment to compassion, community support and social responsibility, this year’s charity drive reached 12 orphaned families. The initiative aimed to provide not only financial and material assistance but also a sense of connection and care during the holy month. A convoy comprising NBT Brunei’s management and staff, led by Managing Director Haji Ahmad bin Haji Husin, visited each home, delivering care packages containing daily necessities, food supplies, and financial contributions.
“As we embody the spirit of giving and compassion this holy month, we hope the orphans and their families felt the warmth and support of this charity drive,” said Haji Ahmad. “This event would not have been successful without the collective efforts and contributions of our customers, partners and colleagues.
NBT remains committed to meaningful CSR efforts for the community.”
A key highlight was the active participation of NBT employees, who made personal donations to further enhance the impact of the initiative. Their generosity helped ensure each family received the support they needed. – James Kon
