St George’s School celebrated its Staff Annual Dinner with a vibrant ‘Wild, Wild West’ theme at a hotel in the capital recently.
The event saw participation from staff, teachers, and members of the governing board, many donning denim outfits and cowboy hats in line with the theme.
The evening began with an opening address by the school’s Principal Janidi Jingan. Teachers from the kindergarten, primary, and secondary sections showcased cultural performances.
A key highlight of the event was the recognition of dedication and service within the school. Long Service Certificates were presented to teachers who had served for over 10 and 20 years, honouring their enduring contributions. Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to teachers who played pivotal roles in academic excellence and the success of various school events.
The event concluded with closing remarks from the Chairman of the Board Anthony Liew, who commended the dedication of the staff and teachers. He expressed gratitude for their hard work and emphasised the importance of continued efforts to ensure the success of both the students and the school.
