Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) hosted the third UBD Alumni Talk Series recently, facilitated by the Office of Alumni Relations and Advancement (OARA).
A talk titled ‘Finding Your Way in Digital Entrepreneurship’ was delivered by UBD alumna and Managing Director of Mindtrex Academy Sdn Bhd Pengiran Khairi bin Pengiran Haji Metussin.
Pengiran Khairi graduated from UBD with a degree in business administration in 2012. With more than 10 years of experience in digital education in Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia, Pengiran Khairi believes in the potential of big data, personalised outcome analysis and mobile or online-based learning as the future of modern education across all market segments in Brunei Darussalam and globally.
The talk was attended by UBD staff, alumni and students as well as students from several institutions and schools including Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPUSB), Politeknik Brunei and Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE).
The talk, live streamed on the UBD Alumni Instagram page, concluded with an interactive activity and a question-and-answer session.
