Brunei Darussalam’s futsal club Almerez FC defeated SSC Miri All Star 6-5 in a friendly match at the Miri Indoor Stadium.
The futsal club, who recently competed in the Brunei Futsal Cup, was led by Pengiran Haji Kamarunsalehin bin Pengiran Kamis as head coach while their opponents was led by Awie Bakar.
In the first half, Almerez trailed 2-0 but came back before SSC Miri All Star retook the lead just before the break.
SSC Miri All Star extended their lead a minute after the restart but Almerez responded twice to draw level again.
The dramatic affair saw SSC move into the lead in the last 10 minutes of the game, but Almerez made use of their final time out with an equaliser.
The Bruneian snatched a winner in the final time after their rehearsed free-kick turned out to be a success.
