HRDS will host the StudyGlobal Counselling Fair on August 14, showcasing opportunities to study at top universities at the United Kingdom (UK) and Australia.
Students will have the opportunity to make an informed decision in choosing a suitable career path.
They will be able to meet university staff to find out about the latest developments in courses and career opportunities. Several new programmes will be on offer at the fair to meet the needs of industry and business.
University representatives will provide an insight into programmes and careers that the student might be interested in but not have considered.
“Some of the key issues that students often tend to overlook are the importance of professional degrees and accreditation, paid work placement opportunities, restrictions for international students to study certain programmes or stringent quotas for overseas students,” HRDS said.
Students can ‘meet’ university staff either from home or at the HRDS office. The Australian universities will be available from 9am to noon and the UK universities will be from 3-6pm.
Students must register via https://forms.gle/MULSmLpPmbX2ESAAA to ensure they have access to as many universities as possible.
