Maju Motors Sdn Bhd launched its latest addition to the VW lineup, the Volkswagen T-Cross at a roadshow at The Mall, Gadong on Wednesday.
Maju Motors Chairman Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Ratna Wijaya Brigadier General (Rtd) Pengiran Haji Hasnan bin Pengiran Ahmad and Head of Sales and Marketing at Baiduri Finance Berhad Pengiran Haji Rosli bin Pengiran Haji Daud officiated the launch.
The T-Cross features an efficient engine that consumes only 5.2 litres of fuel per 100 kilometres and a 40-litre fuel tank, where one can commute from Bandar Seri Begawan and Kuala Belait back-and-forth four times with a full tank.
Starting from the 10.25-inch high-resolution active info display cluster with modern progressive interface design, customers can choose between three selectable views according to their preferences and configure the additional information via the infotainment touchscreen. Embedded in the dash panel is the eight-inch glass covered capacitive touchscreen with a proximity sensor infotainment unit, which also includes all the modern-day connective necessities such as MirrorLink, Android Auto, Apple Car Play, and Bluetooth.
The sound experience comes from the “Beats” premium sound system, with six special loudspeakers and subwoofer that have been specially configured for the T-Cross’ characteristics to produce a high-quality sound in the interior.
A newly designed leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel can also be seen inside the T-Cross carrying the new Volkswagen logo, which houses a lot of features including voice control.
