Heidelberg Materials Butra Sdn Bhd, the first producer of local cement in the country, celebrated its rebranding during a gala event at Tarindak D’Seni on Friday.
Managing director Terence Ong addressed the staff detailing the vision behind the rebranding effort.
“The change of its previous name Butra HeidelbergCement Sdn Bhd to Heidelberg Materials Butra Sdn Bhd is a strategic move that aligns with Heidelberg Materials’ global vision. We aim to be the industry leader on the path to become carbon-neutral,” said Ong.
Some 27 staff members received long service awards during the event. – James Kon
