AGC reaches out to needy of Masin Secondary School

THE Attorney General’s Chamber (AGC) yesterday donated basic food necessities to nine families of selected students of Masin Secondary School.

With the help of the school’s teachers, the AGC reached out to students including those under the care of single mothers and orphans.

According to a press statement, the AGC Ramadhan Food Donation Drive was organised by the AGC Outreach Committee, which collected BND850 worth of basic foods from AGC officers and staff. About 20 AGC outreach volunteers took part in the Ramadhan Food Donation Drive along with the school’s teachers.

The AGC Ramadhan Food Donation Drive focusses on helping children in need, where they collaborate with teachers to organise donation drives. AGC hoped the donation drive helped alleviate the students’ burdens at home.
