The Ministry of Education has announced the adjusted school hours for the year 1446/2025 during the holy month of Ramadan for primary schools, secondary schools, colleges, and sixth-form centres across the country.
For primary schools, the morning session will run from 7.45 am to 11.55 am, ensuring that young students are able to complete their day before the midday heat sets in.
Secondary schools, colleges, sixth-form centres and schools with two sessions will have a split session. The morning session will run from 7.45 am to 11.50 am, with an afternoon session from 12.00 pm to 4.00 pm for those institutions operating on a two-session schedule.
Pre-school students will benefit from flexible teaching and learning hours, determined by the respective schools to best accommodate their needs during Ramadan.
The Ministry emphasised that these changes are aimed at ensuring the well-being and comfort of students, as well as aligning with the practices of the holy month.
