Participants of the Singapore-Brunei Youth leadership Exchange Programme (SBYLEP) visited several organisations and institutions in Brunei Darussalam.
They visited the Prime Minister’s Office to listen to a briefing on Brunei Vision 2035 and also DARe (Darussalam Enterprise) and iCentre for an interactive session with young entrepreneur incubates.
They also visited the Marine Biodiversity Centre in Meragang and Meriuk Farm Stay for an interactive session on the role of the youth in sustainable environment.
The delegation took part in nature activities including tea cultivation, viewing different species of trees and durian tasting.
The group also made a visit Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) to learn more on the topic of the industry and technology towards IR4.0 and also visited Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) Headquarters to learn about the bank’s initiatives in ‘NEXGEN’ and ‘BIBD SEED’ programme.
According to the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the programme aims to generate future leaders by highlighting their roles in strengthening ties between neighbouring countries.
