After weeks of prolonged dry spells, the Sultanate is experiencing active weather condition due to the influence of La Nina in the region.
The country is currently in the southwest monsoon period, where the southwesterly wind is likely to be more dominant with stable atmospheric conditions that contributed to flash floods in some sections of the country, especially rural areas.
