Achievements celebrated as participants fine tune skills

Persatuan Kemajuan Insan (KESAN) hosted the catalyst graduation and awards of commitment and excellence (ACE) at the Banquet Hall of Progresif Sdn Bhd Headquarter on Sunday.

The event, with Legislative Council Member Yang Berhormat Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan as the guest of honour, celebrated the achievements of KESAN Catalysts and recognised the dedication of its committee members.

The Çatalyst Graduation marks the finale of the Catalyst mentoring programme, a four-month journey that began in August 2024 where 79 first-year students from Universiti Teknologi Brunei, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, and Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali participated. Participants were mentored and gained insights and guidance to excel in academic and personal development.

Some 35 Catalysts graduated from the programme and 15 awards were presented to participants in recognition of their commitment and growth throughout the programme.

The ceremony paid tribute to the committee members whose hard work and passion brought KESAN’s initiatives to life this year.

The event also marked a significant moment in KESAN’s leadership as the presidency was officially handed over from Md Najib bin Haji Latif (2021–2024) to Md Haziq Hisyam bin Md Zaki.
