Da’wah Academy 3.0, a programme to cultivate talented youth with the potential as Da’ie, was launched at a ceremony at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) building, in Jalan Menteri Besar yesterday.
Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar officiated the launch.
Forty-nine registered members of Belia Da’ie and youth participants are involved in the programme conducted by the Belia Da’ie Volunteer Body Committee, in collaboration with the Youth Religious Programme Secretariat of the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI).
The programme aims to produce the next generation of preachers with an understanding of Al-Quran and As-Sunnah, while establishing Belia Da’ie as a platform for young religious preachers.
Da’wah Academy 3.0 began its learning session on January 30 and is expected to be completed by April 11, after five sessions held twice a week on Saturdays and Sundays. This is the third edition of the programme, with the theme ‘Generasi Penda’wah Muda, Pemangkin Ummah Rabbani’.
The deputy minister launched the programme by pressing a button, followed with a video presentation on the programme activities and the recitation of an oath by participants led by Mohammad Jaffnie bin Mohamad Shalahudeen.
A Sayyidul Istighfar was recited by those present, followed with a Doa Selamat.
