Twenty scholars under the Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd and Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Joint Scholarship Programme concluded their online studies with Zhejiang University (ZJU) recently.
UBD Vice-Chancellor Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle, guest of honour, presented ZJU certificates to the scholars at the graduation ceremony at UBD’s Institute for Leadership, Innovation and Advancement (ILIA) yesterday.
The graduates were the ninth batch under the joint scholarship programme of a four-year Bachelor of Chemical and Process Engineering degree.
The programme includes one and a half years of studies with UBD, one year with ZJU followed by six months of industrial training and six more months of internship with Hengyi Industries.
Having completed three years of studies, the scholars are on the brink of completing their academic journey and begin their new career in the petrochemical industry with Hengyi Industries.
