With that said, 30 of AIA Singapore Pte Ltd’s Brunei professionals have become MDRT registered qualifiers for 2022, with three Top of the Table (TOT) qualifiers, namely Nancy Kwang, Ang Kian Guan and Patrick Pang.
The TOT is the highest level of recognition and membership for MDRT’s top performers who have achieved at least six times the qualifying requirements of a MDRT, which is the epitome of success and achievement in the industry.
Meanwhile, out of the 30, there are four Court of the Table (COT) qualifiers, namely Irene Phang, Goh Mei Ling, Kelvin Pong and Vivien Chong. COT is the second level of MDRT which is three times the qualifying requirements of a MDRT.
The remaining qualifiers are the 23 MDRT which include first time qualifiers, namely Annie Chua, Angelyn Choo, Hayaty Haji Bujang, Yong Shih Ching and Andy Teo.
In an interview, General Manager of AIA Singapore Pte Ltd (Brunei), Kenneth Ling shared, “We are pleased that our number of MDRT members for AIA Singapore Pte Ltd (Brunei) increased from 26 in 2021 to 30 in 2022, making up about 16 per cent of AIA Singapore Pte Ltd (Brunei)’s existing inforce agents.”
“AIA Group is ranked number one in terms of having the highest number of MDRT members in the world for the eight consecutive years. As of July 1, 2022, the MDRT members for AIA Group are 15,745, followed by Prudential plc with 6,993.”
“A lot of focus and initiatives are placed on MDRT-related matters such as: aligning AIA’s own club memberships with MDRT qualification requirements; and promoting our agents to attend MDRT Experience where they can learn from the best around the world on technical information, sales techniques and motivational concepts for financial services and insurance.”
AlA Singapore Pte Ltd (Brunei) Senior District Director Kelvin Pong serves in the MDRT Committee in the Business Processes Task Force of the Member Resources Best Practices Division and as a Captain of the MDRT Global Conference 2023 Focus Sessions.
In an interview, he expressed his excitement for Brunei Darussalam’s achievement of yet another record breaking year with 40 MDRT members.
“With more MDRT members, our nation as a whole will be positively impacted in fulfilling the financial planning demand of the public,” said Kelvin.
Kelvin himself is a member of the MDRT Honour Roll with 15 consecutive years MDRT and two years COT membership introduces MDRT’s Whole Person concept, a concept that encourages members to strive for the balance in spiritual, family, health, financial, education, career and service aspects of lives in order to achieve full personal potential.
“All Insurance professionals who achieved MDRT despite of the challenges and restrictions imposed during the COVID period are truly practising the MDRT’s Whole Person concept,” exclaimed Kelvin.
