Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman presented certificates to 370 former personnel of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA), who have retired since 2019, at the Legislative Council building yesterday.
Permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries, acting deputy permanent secretaries, heads of departments, senior officers, officers and staff of the ministry were also in attendance.
Permanent Secretary (Safety and Welfare) at the MoHA Salminan bin Haji Burut said previous events could not be carried out due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “The restrictions have been lifted, making it possible to celebrate retirees’ contributions and services,” he said.
