The Ministry of Health yesterday reported that the inoculation statistics for children aged five to 11 with two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine is 83.4 per cent, while 57.9 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
The coverage rate of the Brunei population with three shots of COVID-19 vaccine remained at 77.3 per cent, while 9.5 per cent of the populace received the fourth dose.
One COVID-19 case is in Category 5 requiring treatment at the intensive care unit, while four cases in Category 4 need respiratory assistance and close monitoring. The Sultanate also continued its streak of no COVID-19 fatalities in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 189 cases were declared recovered yesterday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 219,954.
