Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien (SOAS) College, through its Al-‘Amal Lil Amal Project, donated Ramadhan packs to 78 students from underprivileged homes at the school premises recently.
The donations were contributed by teachers, staff and parents of the college as well as the parent-teacher association and the Malayali Association.
Principal Mohamed Santra bin Hai Bolhassan, along with deputy principals Norliza binti Suhailee and Mohd Zulhisham Shah bin Haji Napiah presented the donations to the students.
The project, the third of its series, aimed to ease the financial burdens of the underprivileged during the month of Ramadhan. – Rokiah Mahmud
