712 undergoing mandatory self-isolation

Brunei Darussalam yesterday entered its fifth days without any COVID-19 cases and 221 days of no local transmissions, maintaining the national tally of confirmed cases at 152.

One active case is receiving treatment at the National Isolation Centre in the Tutong District.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) has taken 96 SARS-CoV-2 virus samples for testing over the past 24 hours, and carried out 79,238 tests since January.

A total of 712 individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad, while 9,256 have completed their stint since March.
