Some 700 officers and staff of the Prime Minister’s Office and departments under it held a Tedarus Al-Quran at the surau of Istana Nurul Iman in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan on Thursday.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof and Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah were present.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Begawan Pehin Khatib Haji Mat Jaya bin Haji Ibrahim. – Azlan Othman
