619 undergoing self-isolation

Brunei Darussalam recorded its eighth consecutive day with no new COVID-19 cases and 224 days of no local transmission in the country.

The national tally of confirmed COVID-19 cases remain at 152 with one active case receiving treatment at the National Isolation Centre (NIC).

Information on the latest COVID-19 situation in the country was released by the Ministry of Health (MoH).

The MoH has taken 359 samples for SARS-CoV-2 testing over the past 24 hours, and carried out 80,035 tests since January.

Six hundred and nineteen individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad while 9,376 have completed their stint since March.

Healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there have been 118 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 28 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
