SINGAPORE (CNA) – Singapore reported 5,996 new COVID-19 cases as of noon on Tuesday, comprising 5,578 local and 418 imported infections.

The weekly infection growth rate is 2.68 down from Monday’s 2.69.

Among the cases reported on Tuesday, 3,934 are new Protocol 2 infections, comprising 18 imported cases and 3,916 local ones.

Another 2,062 cases were confirmed via PCR tests – 400 of them imported and 1,662 local infections.
