54,630 tested for SARS-CoV-2 since January 2020

Brunei Darussalam continued to record no new COVID-19 cases as of yesterday, keeping the national tally at 145 cases.

According to a Ministry of Health (MoH) press statement, only one active case is receiving treatment at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in the Tutong District.

There are 396 individuals undergoing mandatory self-isolation, while 5,560 individuals have completed their mandatory self-isolation since March 2020.

A total of 274 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 over the last 24 hours. Since January this year, 54,630 samples have been tested.

Individuals wishing to be tested for SARS-CoV-2 (for travelling purpose) are advised to take the swab test three to five days prior to their flight date. The swab test can be conducted at the Berakas Health Centre from Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 8am to noon and 2pm to 4pm. On public holidays, Friday and Sunday, the centre will be open from 2pm to 5.30pm.

Alternatively, they can go to the Sports Complex of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital which is open daily from 7am to 10pm, and closed during public holidays.
