The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) is conducting roadblocks and patrols to ensure the full enforcement of Chapter 204 of the Infectious Diseases Act.

According to RBPF Public Relation Head DSP Mohammad Amiruddin bin Haji Tunjang, the August 14-23 September operations has turned up 47 quarantine order offences by purple and blue codeholders. Additionally, 712 individuals were found to be out and about, unmasked. Ten cases of mass gatherings were also detected.

The operations aim to ensure the public abides by the Ministry of Health (MoH) directives to curb the COVID-19 spread. Public cooperation is crucial to ensure the virus is contained.
