A total of 45 participants from Impak Tutong Youth Movement, Youth Centre of Brunei-Muara, Belait and Temburong districts, Tutong Youth and Sports Department and Tutong Youth group attended Belia Takbir Programme held at the Tutong District Youth Centre yesterday.
The event was co-organised by Impak Tutong Youth Movement and Youth Community Transformation Club (KKBT) supported by the Youth and Sports Department, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
The event began with the recitation of Ratib Al-Attas and Doa, followed by Takbir Hari Raya and continued with a special religious talk.
Co-founder of Al-Minhaaj Centre Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ajak delivered the talk titled ‘Memperingati Kebesaran Aidiladha’, and concluded with mass Asar prayer.
The event aimed to encourage youth to participate in religious activities to uphold His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s titah in producing youth with Taqwa.
It also aimed to increase awareness on the meaning of sacrifice in Islam, and respect and care for parents.
