Forty-three blood donors bled for a good cause as part of a campaign organised by Brudesh Engineering and Management Sdn Bhd at its premises at Jalan Maulana in the Belait District yesterday.
The campaign was conducted in collaboration with the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, Belait District blood bank to help bolster the blood supply as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility of giving back to the community.
Among the 50 participants who registered for the campaign included senior officers and staff members at Brudesh Engineering and Management, as well as business partners and the public.
Managing Director Hajah Sapurahbee binti Haji Ibrahim, Executive Director Syarifah Safinatul Najah binti Malai Haji Abdul Hamid and Operations Director Malai ‘Izzat Faris bin Malai Haji Abdul Hamid were present.
The 43 donors who donated a pint of blood each received their own personal pizza. The company hopes it will help show appreciation for their support in helping those in need, especially those relying on the blood supply for their livelihoods.
