The Tahaddu Tahabbu 5.0 Programme saw 400 needy students residing in Mukim Gadong receive stationeries and books from Acting Director of the Mosque Affairs Department Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri, who officiated the presentation ceremony at the Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Malik Mosque last Friday.

The annual programme was introduced by Ashabul Haliim Youth Group in 2017/2018 with the objectives of glorifying the mosque.

This year marks the fifth edition of the programme’s implementation.

It is also implemented to draw more residents to the mosque, build a harmonious community, inculcate caring and sensitive attitude towards those in need, ease the burden of the underprivileged and raise awareness among residents of their responsibilities as Muslims.

The event was supported by the imam and the Mosque Affairs Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs while the schooling materials were contributed by the public.
