36 Montessori students feted at graduation ceremony

Joyful Kids Montessori School students showcased their talents in singing and dancing performances to the theme of ‘Free the child’s potential and you will transform him into the world’ as part of the school’s 15th graduation ceremony and year-end programme at Grand Cesar Hall of Mulia Hotel recently.

The event’s highlight was the presentation of certificates to 36 graduates who completed the three-year Montessori programme.

The event began with opening remarks by Principal Caroline Wong followed by a speech from Director of Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Centre for Islamic Studies at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) and Assistant Professor at UBD School of Business and Economics (UBDSBE) Dr Mohd Hairul Azrin bin Haji Besar. The ceremony represents the fruit of the Montessori Method of Education, where each child is respected as having a mind and the power to construct themselves for life.

Montessori environment challenges the children to develop academic, social and physical potential in line with the school’s vision and mission.
