The Department of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education (MoE) will send a contingent of 32 athletes and 23 officials to represent the Sultanate at the 21st ASEAN University Games 2024 (AUG 2024) from June 25 to July 6, in Surabaya and Malang, Indonesia.

A national flag handover ceremony was held yesterday at the main hall of the ministry’s new building.

The ceremony saw Minister of Education Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh present the flag to head of the contingent and senior education officer at the Department of Higher Education Dr Tang Shi Siong.
