Dean of the Faculty of Integrated Technologies at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Dr Juliana binti Haji Zaini praised the resilience, commitment and outstanding achievements of 30 scholars who completed their studies with Zhejiang University (ZJU) under the Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd and UBD Joint Scholarship Programme during a graduation ceremony at UBD’s Chancellor Hall.
UBD Vice-Chancellor Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle was the guest of honour at the graduation ceremony where the graduates were presented with their certificates from ZJU.
Dr Juliana also lauded the scholars, who all completed a Bachelor of Chemical and Process Engineering programme, for their abilities to overcome challenges in their academic journey across two renowned universities.
Jerick Yap Raymundo, delivering an address on behalf of his peers, spoke about the shared experiences, personal growth and aspirations of the cohort, emphasising the strength of the bond formed during their time in the programme.
The graduates represent the 10th batch of scholars under the Hengyi Industries and UBD Joint Scholarship Programme.
