Some 265 staff from Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) School attended a ceremony held in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan at its premises on Saturday.
The event brought together staff from Taman Asuhan Kanak-Kanak YSHHB, primary and secondary schools and the YSHHB religious school.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Sayyidul Istighfar led by YSHHB Religious School Headmaster Azmerul bin Haji Haris, followed with the recitation of the Khatam Al-Quran led by Mohd Syazwanshah bin Razali.
Meanwhile, Siti Hajar binti Haji Yusop and Zaiton binti Haji Abdullah recited Takhtim and Anura bin Mohammad recited Doa Khatam.
The event also saw the recitation of Tahlil and Doa Tahlil by Haji Abdul Hosni @ Haji Muhd Dzul Husni bin Haji Salim and Mohd Herwan bin Haji Mohamad.
The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Dikir Marhaban, Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam and Doa Selamat led by Abdul Halim bin Haji Abdul Rahman.
YSHHB Primary School Headmistress Hajah Mariam binti Haji Ladi, YSHHB Secondary School Principal and Acting Chief Executive Officer Chong Li Chen were also present. – Rokiah Mahmud
