The Ministry of Health (MoH) in collaboration with Tutong Runners and GMSS Cycle and Fitness Studio will host the 24km Beach Run at Pantai Seri Kenangan on March 14.
The event, in support of the Happy Environment And Lifestyle (HEAL) Programme, will be split into five categories: men and women’s open, men’s and women’s veteran (45 years and above) and a 6km Fun Run. It will be held from 6.30-10.30am.
The race aims to support the MoH’s vision – ‘Towards a Healthy Nation’ – and encourages youth to be active in sporting activities.
Considering that beach runs are infrequently conducted in the country, organisers hope to get an encouraging response from all districts.
Participants must comply with the standard operating procedures set by the MoH amid the COVID-19 measures.
Registration is open until February 18, while the payment period is between February 19 and 28.
The run is also supported by the Health Promotion Centre and Gleneagles Jerudong Park Medical Centre Sdn Bhd.
