Brunei recorded 229 COVID-19 recoveries yesterday, bringing the national tally of recoveries to 222,797.
There were no COVID-19 fatalities recorded in the past 24 hours.
These were shared by the Ministry of Health in its daily report.
Meanwhile, there are no cases recorded in Category 5 requiring treatment at the intensive care unit. Three cases were recorded in Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and close monitoring.
About 78.3 per cent of the total population received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 10.2 per cent received the second booster shot.
For children between the ages of five to 11, 84.7 per cent have received their second vaccine shot and for adolescents aged 12 to 17, 61.2 per cent have been administered three vaccine shots.
