YSHHB students experience Bedouin’s hut, calligraphy workshop

Thirty Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) Secondary School students and five teachers visited the Mawlid Fest at The Airport Mall, Berakas yesterday.

The event was held in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul celebration for 1442 Hijrah organised by the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI).

Joining the visit was His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s grandson, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Abdul Hafeez bin Pengiran Anak Khairul Khalil.

Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Abdul Hafeez and the other students got into a Bedouin’s hut for a story-telling session discussing Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) moral value and life journey, delivered by Ustazah Dayangku Nur Hayana binti Pengiran Haji Abdul Razak and Ustazah Hajah Nurbazilah binti Haji Siadis.

A calligraphy art workshop was also held.

The public is welcome to visit the Mawlid Fest which continues today.
