SM Masin wins cooking contest for special needs students

The team from Masin Secondary School emerged as the champion of 2nd National Cooking Competition for students with special needs in Pre Vocational Programme yesterday.

Acting Director-General of Education Marina Chek binti Bujang was the guest of honour who presented the prizes at the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Sultan Saiful
Rijal Campus.

The winning team – comprising of Daniel Fitri bin Mohammad Raizal, Muhammad Khairuddin bin Abu Bakar and Siti Nor Suriani binti Abu Bakar – was also named the best in table setting.

The second place went to Sayyidina Abu Bakar Secondary School and the third place went to Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar Secondary School. Katok Secondary School claimed fourth place and Sayyidina Husain Secondary School and Perdana Wazir Secondary School were in fifth and sixth places.

The award for Best Student Performance went to Siti Nur Sabrina binti Osman of Sayyidina Abu Bakar Secondary School.

The competition was organised by Special Education Unit of Ministry of Education.
