The Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) is calling for the public to donate food and school necessities for special needs students and their families at the headquarters of BDRCS at Jalan Haji Halus in Kampong Bunut on November 15.
Project Ikhlas 12.0, held in conjunction with Day of Action 2020 Brunei, welcomes donations such as rice, sugar, cooking oil, instant noodles, coffee and tea, dry biscuits, canned food and diapers.
School aids such as exercise books, stationeries, school bags, school uniform, toothbrush and toothpaste, female prayer garment and toiletries are also welcome.
The charity event will be held from 9am-4pm, where the public can drop off their donations via a drive-through.
BDRCS said the donations will be distributed to recipients in all four districts next monthin hopes to alleviate their financial burden ahead of the next academic year.
