Project to generate employment opportunities

A signing ceremony between Serikandi Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd and Damaira Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary under the purview of Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd, took place at Serikandi Café and Restaurant on November 2.

The signing marked Serikandi’s long-lease agreement for a building on Jalan Pretty, Pekan Kuala Belait. Following its renovation, the building will be renamed Serikandi Tower, Serikandi Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd stated.

Signing on behalf of Damaira was Darussalam Assets Chief Financial Officer and Damaira Deputy Chairperson Laila Hussainmiya. Present on behalf of Serikandi Oilfield Services was Serikandi Group of Companies Chairman and Managing Director Shaikh Haji Khalid bin Shaikh Haji Ahmad.

Damaira Board of Directors members, as well as representatives from Darussalam Assets and management of Serikandi Group of Companies were also present.

Serikandi projects the generation of employment opportunities for locals and acceleration of economic activities in Kuala Belait with some 400 Serikandi employees from various operations to be stationed in the commercial area.
