Peugeot 508 sets world-class standard

With a structure that is more compact and its height reduced, the new Peugeot 508 features a new exterior design that is sharper and more robust, while the car’s interior includes an evolution of the iconic Peugeot i-Cockpit.

The new Peugeot 508 sets a world-class standard within the D-segment with the new 508 offering exemplary road-handling, new engine, countless technology features and a quantum leap in quality which supports the brand’s upmarket strategy.

The media previewed the latest Peugeot line up at TCY Motors (Peugeot Brunei) showroom in Kiarong Central yesterday.

At first glance, it surprises onlookers with an energetic and expressive presence. The aerodynamic lines of the vehicle are reminiscent of the coupé style while the front end is impressive, even aggressive.

Peugeot utilised its expert knowledge to maximise the car’s aesthetic appeal and quality including the rear end and framed between the rear lights is the glossy black horizontal strip that characterises Peugeot’s latest vehicles with the three-dimensional full LED rear lights immediately stand out.

Taken straight from the design of the most recent Peugeot concept cars and first seen on Quartz, these lights are illuminated throughout the night and day with adaptive intensity, making the coloured claws constantly visible.

Giving an intense driving experience, the new 508 is faithful to its DNA, benefitting from technology and expertise developed within the PSA Group, such as the use of the EMP2 platform providing great dynamic qualities and weight-reduction

The new Peugeot 508 is produced in the Mulhouse plant in France, while the French sites of Trémery and Douvrin provide the powertrain, hence the model bears the Origine France Garantie accreditation for its launch, certifying that it is made in France.
