Middle Eastern feel at Mawlid Fest

More than 40 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are taking part in a Mawlid Fest, which opened yesterday at the The Airport Mall in Berakas.

Co-hosted by the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) under the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) and Sparks Co Sdn Bhd, the four-day event offers food, crafts, exotic perfumes and clothing, as well as a range of activities, within a Middle Eastern theme.

The festival was launched by Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman.
