Kalsum Haji Alli
November 15, 1990 – A young Bruneian entrepreneur has embarked on a brand new entertainment business, fulfilling his long-time dream.
Last week. Awangku Noorhalim bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Rahman, launched his new venture with a modest ceremony attended only by a handful of close friends. The 26-year-old ambitious young man said his ultimate aim in setting up the studio is to contribute to the development of talented local artistes while at the same time promoting the entertainment industry as potential growth area.
“It is our hope that by providing proper facilities, our local artistes will be able to upgrade their standards in performing arts,” he said, attributing the lack of facilities in Brunei, as a major factor that impeded development of local talents.
He said his nearly BND1 million studio located in Gadong, will also initiate recording of locally composed songs.
