Focus on hiking safety at basic stretcher use course

The Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) through its Operation ‘A’ Branch held a basic stretcher use at the Bukit Dadap recreational park to highlight hiking safety last Saturday.

Bukit Dadap has become a popular hiking spot in the country. The park has several facilities and challenging tracks. The park also features a waterfall which is an attraction for visitors.

Seventeen members of Bukit Dadap committee participated in the course. The event also saw the presentation of a stretcher by Operation ‘A’ Branch Commanding Officer Acting Senior Superintendent Pengiran Haji Asmali bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad to Acting Village Head of Kampong Kilanas Haji Mohammad Ameerolbahrynee bin Haji Abdul Hamid.
