Company celebrates milestones

The Serikandi Oilfield Services, Engineering and Design Services (SOS EDS) celebrated its second anniversary with staff members and representatives from the company’s business partners at the Cenderawasih Ballroom of the Brunei Shell Recreation Club, Panaga yesterday.

Chairman and Managing Director of Serikandi Group of Companies Shaikh Haji Khalid bin Shaikh Haji Ahmad welcomed Norrainywarti binti Haji Hujan, a representative from the Asset Engineering Design (AED) at Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP), as the guest of honour.

SOS EDS also celebrated two milestones: 750,000 man-hours free of lost-time injury (LTI) and accreditation for the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015.

Shaikh Haji Khalid said, “The celebrations shows Serikandi Oilfield Services’ efforts in strengthening our reputation in the oil and gas environment.”

The event proceeded with a series of presentations.

It continued with a cake-cutting ceremony by the chairman and managing director of Serikandi Group of Companies, directors and management team.

Guests visited booths set up by staff of SOS EDS which showcased products and services.

Tokens of appreciation were presented to guests and representatives by Shaikh Haji Khalid and Chief Executive Officer of Serikandi Oilfield Services Revi Thuruthiyil Bhaskaran.

Commemorative plaques were also presented to Norulfadli bin Norari, Raihani Yunos, Ajeerah binti Haji Mutalib, Glenn Wan Laing and Ikbar Omar, who had shown their dedication in upholding the company’s vision.

Robert Worton was presented with a Best Boss Award.

The event concluded with the signing on the commemorative banner by guests and staff.
