Brunei marks three weeks with no new COVID-19 cases

Brunei Darussalam marked 21 days without new COVID-19 cases yesterday, keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 148.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) took 192 samples for testing for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours and carried out 72,130 tests since January.

The latest information of COVID-19 as of noon yesterday was shared by MoH in a press release.

Some 335 individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad while 7,862 have completed their stint since March.

In its breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the country, healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there have been 114 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 28 in the Belait District and six in the
Tutong District.
