Brunei marks 22 days without COVID-19 cases

Brunei Darussalam marked 22 days without COVID-19 cases yesterday, keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 148.

The country also recorded 191 days without any local coronavirus transmissions.

The latest information of the COVID-19 situation in the country was shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in its daily release yesterday.

The MoH has taken 420 samples for the SARS-CoV-2 virus testing in the past 24 hours, and carried out 72,550 tests for the virus since January.

A total of 367 individuals are currently undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad while 7,883 have completed their self-isolation since March.

According to healthinfo.gov.bn, there have been 114 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 28 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
