22 sharpen skills in customer services

The Tourism Development Department of the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) in collaboration with Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) organised a two-day ‘Customer Service Training for Tourism Industries in Brunei Darussalam’ at the MPRT on November 18-19.

Acting Director of Tourism Development at the MPRT Haji Zulzalani bin Haji Osman and Training and Professional Development Manager cum TVET Specialist Noorhayati Cynthia binti Abdullah, who was also the facilitator of the training programme, as well as senior officers and officers from the MPRT were present during the opening ceremony.

Twenty-two participants comprising owners, managers, supervisors and staff of hotels and restaurants from Brunei’s tourism industry attended.

The programme aimed to develop, cultivate and strengthen participants’ skills towards excellent service delivery.
